About Me
Caitlin O'Brien is an award-winning AP English teacher. During the 11 years she spent in the classroom, she taught a variety of classic courses, such as American Literature and AP Language & Composition, and also pioneered curriculum for unique, one-of-a-kind courses such as Advanced Topics in Creative Studies and Gender Politics.
While teaching, Ms. O'Brien saw first-hand just how stressful it can be for students to tackle reading acquisition as well as critical thinking and writing skills. In fact, it is often so stressful that it sucks the joy out of learning, and that is something Ms. O'Brien strives to fix through Creative Scholars Tutoring. Creative Scholars Tutoring provides expert, student-centered support not only in general reading and writing development but also in three specific, often intimidating areas: writing the college essay, increasing scores on the SAT or ACT, and passing the two AP English exams, AP Language & Composition and AP Literature & Composition.

Whether you're looking for a tutor to help you or your child in developing basic reading and writing skills or in reaching college levels of mastery, Creative Scholars Tutoring can help you achieve your goals with little stress and lots of fun.
